Japanese whalers claim that their hunting and harvesting of whales is in the interest of science. Oddly, though, just how there is a connection between the two never seems to be addressed in any way that seems to justify their perennial continuation of this pratice. Some news outlets have even mentioned that due to the excessive numbers of whales taken, whale meat is in surplus and is sent to schools (as food) and even used in pet food.

Skywarriors Continue to Serve

These aircraft are active and currently with Raytheon Systems Company. (formerly Hughes Aircraft Co.). These are used as testbeds for weapons research. A few A-3s are on hand as spare parts.

Remarkable! It's great to know that I may still have one last chance to see one of these fine birds fly. What a tribute to it's utility after all these decades.


Sperm Whale Plummets to Ground

There a many strange goings-ons in this Universe but few quite so peculiar as this poor sperm whale falling from the sky.
